- Remove the blind from the window and lay it on a flat surface.
- Use pliers to remove any end stiffeners that are pressed into both sides at the end of the headrail.
- Slide the metal rod out of the gear from the old wand tilt mechanism.
- Slightly spread the headrail to remove the tilter.
- Install the new tilter by seating it and then sliding the metal rod through the center gear hole.
- Put the end stiffeners back on, attach the wand, and then hang up the blind.
